Jack Walsh is a 13-year veteran of PBS with nearly 20 years in the television business. As a producer/director/editor/photographer, his American Public Television documentaries on Atlanta’s “geek scene,” Four Days at Dragon Con and Cosplay! Crafting a Secret Identity, won a total of four Southeast regional Emmy awards and two Georgia Association of Broadcasters “Gabby” awards.
Jack brings a similar multitasking approach to the Emmy-winning Public Broadcasting Atlanta magazine show This is Atlanta, on which he also serves as supervising producer, and the Emmy-winning hit food show, Get Delicious!, which he co-created. He has also received an Edward R. Murrow Award and a Scripps Howard Finalist award for programs he photographed.
